About us

We started running Things on the 1st January 2023 when Debbie and Geoff retired. Prior to this, we had gained a great deal of experience working for them.

We feel so lucky to live and work in the beautiful village of Boscastle where our family have lived and worked for generations.

It is a true family business with all our team being related!

Our vision is to have a shop full of items which have all been individually selected with significant thought for their qualities, with all customer demographics and styles in mind, while achieving a cohesive appearance and beautiful displays.

We try to stock items from local makers where possible and otherwise ensure items are ethically sourced and/or Fairtrade. We give a great deal of thought to sustainability and stock many recycled pieces with this in mind.

Our aim is to provide the highest levels of customer service and provide a unique shopping experience. We are extremely grateful to all our customers for your support.
